Being the largest beer distributer in the Chicagoland area Glunz’s Marketing department mass produces hundreds of signage daily for countless accounts. As part of this marketing team I gained experience in the printing industry to manufacture large posters, vinyl banners, and adhesive cooler wraps. Below are examples where I produced completely new signage or repurposed already existing branding for accounts.
Illinois State University Event Management, Dining, & Hospitality
Internship 2021-2022
The Department of Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality at Illinois State is the largest employer as it is the combined responsibilities of Campus Dining and the Bone Student Center. As a Student Marketing Specialist I was a part of EMDH’s marketing team and tasked with creating innovative and interactive design for each event we host. Below you can see some of the signage I created for various events. Each event needed digital, print and animations for instagram stories.
Illinois State University Center of Civc Engagement
Internship Summer 2022
Over the summer I worked with the marketing department for ISU’s Center for Civic Engagement (CCE). The purpose of the Center is to get students active and aware in their community and social issues. One of the main project was creating various Icons to teach the different types of Civic Engagement. For this project I had to collaborate with the whole team to get opinions on what civic engagement meant for them and how each category should be portrayed. Civic Engagement should be a Universal practice for individuals so I wanted to keep the globe iconography consistent throughout the icons. The CCE also host the Alternative Breaks program that brings ISU’s civic engagement ideologies to other countries to make a difference. As part of my minor in Civic Engagement I engaged in various deliberative dialogues hosted by teachers, however in the upcoming year the Center was expanding the conversation to be student led so I created eye catching stickers for those leaders to promote and get the conversation started.
